He previously served as Chief Public Policy Officer at McAfee. Prior to joining McAfee, Gann managed cyber security policy, government relations, alliances, product marketing, and sales functions at Intel, Sun Microsystems, Siebel Systems, and Digimarc as a Director and Vice President/General Manager. Tom has been a regular commentator on cyber security and privacy issues, as a witness before Congress and speaker at a wide variety of industry conferences. He started his career on Capitol Hill, working as a Legislative Director and Chief of Staff to Congressman Tom Campbell (R-CA) and holds an MS in Management (Sloan Program) from the London Business School in international management and a BA, with distinction, from Stanford University in political science.
