On May 22, 2019, The Homeland Security Dialogue Forum hosted a policy forum with government and industry experts on Cloud Strategies to Secure & Transform Government.
The event featured keynote remarks from Congressman Jim Langevin and Department of Defense CIO Dana Deasy, and featured a discussion lead by Luke McCormack, former DHS CIO with John Sherman, Intelligence Community CIO; Kshemendra Paul, DHS Cloud Action Officer, Ned Miller, Chief Technology Strategist; adn Rand Walderman, Senior Director of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
The forum highlighted key issues, such as deploying a cloud strategy across the federal government, boosting mission capabilities and decision-making through the cloud, ensuring the US government’s technical advantage, and introducing better cybersecurity into the government IT ecosystem.
