About the career of Mr. Jermaine Roebuck

Mr. Jermaine Roebuck serves as the Associate Director (AD) for Threat Hunting for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). In this role, AD Roebuck leads CISA’s mission to hunt cyber threats against U.S. infrastructure to mitigate national risk. Mr. Roebuck’s team of technical subject matter experts perform operational and strategic-level threat analysis, respond to cyber incidents, proactively hunt for malicious cyber activity, and develop analytic reports that support and enable the cyber defense community.

Mr. Roebuck and his team work closely with law enforcement, the intelligence community, and international partners to provide coordinated and comprehensive response options to both public and private stakeholders and protect critical infrastructure.

Mr. Roebuck brings a wealth of experience to his role with almost 20 years in various cybersecurity and Information Technology leadership positions. Mr. Roebuck help spearhead CISA’s Elections Security Operations Team efforts from July 2020 to January 2021 focused on safeguarding the United States Presidential Election from foreign interference and influence. This was an integral part of the United States Government and Intelligence Community efforts to protect the integrity of the 2020 election.
