America's Partnership for Homeland, Cyber, and National Security

Mark Adams is Peraton’s Director of Strategic Development, under the leadership of Michael King, Chief Growth Officer (CGO). At Peraton he focuses on the development of integrated mission solution architectures and technologies targeted to Peraton customers’ most difficult challenges in domains such as space, ground systems, unmanned systems, cyber security, and defense. He has direct experience in the identification and implementation of research and development (IRAD, CRAD) programs.

Prior to joining Peraton, Adams was the Chief Architect and Designer at Northrop Grumman, where he implemented a 3G+ commercial wireless technology in a post-911 effort to improve New York City’s critical communications infrastructure. In addition, Adams led an effort in cooperation with AT&T to design and deploy an advanced 4G LTE network that transformed the training operations of the National Training Center in California, allowing advanced mission management of U.S. Army training systems.

Adams has over 30 years of experience in the design, deployment, and implementation of complex military and commercial networking, command and control, and communications systems in support of critical customer mission requirements. Over the course of his career, Adams oversaw innovative approaches to mission efficiency, network agility, commercial technology insertion, software-defined networking, security, resiliency, and the application of cognitive and artificial intelligence engines against present and future mission needs. Adams has worked with customers ranging from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Department of Homeland Security, and other U.S. civil agencies in space, undersea, terrestrial, and airborne systems.
