Erik Hand is a Senior Principal Architect for AT&T supporting Public Safety Accounts with a primary focus on the Department of Homeland Security. During his 15 years at AT&T Erik has worked in senior systems engineering roles to integrate networks and services across AT&T’s Wireless, Wireline, IP Telephony, and Cybersecurity portfolios. Prior to AT&T, Erik served in the US Army as a Signal Officer.

During his service time he led a Mobile Subscriber Equipment (MSE) wireless platoon during deployment to Iraq and later served as the 22nd Signal Brigade’s Data Network Engineer responsible for deploying and maintaining all Secure Data and VoIP communications infrastructure which included over 200 routers and numerous encrypted wireless circuits spanning across the entire Iraq theater of operations. Erik has a BS in Geospatial Information Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science and Analytics.
